Based at the Timaru Port, Wallace and Cooper Ltd specialise in heavy engineering, plant refurbishments, general engineering services, industrial and marine maintenance work. We have one of the most comprehensive workshops in South Canterbury, which includes a range of specialist equipment. The company has a proven reputation for completing large contract work and marine maintenance work requiring the team to operate to tight deadlines and condensed time frames. We have a staff of 28 tradesmen operating from the company's 3000 sq.m workshop. Our workshop features cranes capable of lifting up to 110 tonnes. We have one of the largest 4 ½ axis CNC machining centers in the Southern Hemisphere, capable of machining items of 2.6m wide x 4.0m long x 1.8m high and up to 20 tonne in weight. Regular maintenance contract work is undertaken across the South Island in marine, mining and freezing industries.
