Ericksen Honda

Mark & Kim's love of motorcycles started back in their teenage years and has not diminished with time. Mark was the on-farm service mechanic working for the Mills family (H.B. Motorcycles) in the early 1980's and when that business closed, Mark & Kim started Ericksen Services in 1985, servicing all motorcycles, three and four wheelers on Hawkes Bay farms. Many of their friends today have been valued customers from the beginning. Early 1992 they became Ericksen Honda and acquired the full Honda motorcycle dealership. Mark has continued to provide an on-farm service and have added more staff as their business has grown. At present they have a Staff of 11. In 1998 they outgrew their small building in the Bayview Township locating to temporary premises across the road until their new building was completed in 1999. In addition to the Honda motorcycles, Ericksen Honda has grown considerably in the Honda Marine & Honda Power Equipment market and they are now in the process of building a new Marine & Motorsport centre next door to their motorcycle dealership.
