ACL has established itself as a leading company in the local civil contracting field. Ashburton Contracting Limited (ACL) commenced operations in 1995. They now have a workforce in excess of 115 staff and have proved themselves in a dynamic and challenging market through performance and quality. ACL operate a modern fleet of excavators, trucks, graders, loaders and specialised plant as well as light vehicles and construction equipment. ACL specialises in civil contracting with capability in subdivisions, roading, driveways, carparks as well as drainage and plumbing services. They work in the rural sector providing contracting services which include laneway and hardstand maintenance, supply of limestone and other capping materials, tree removal, border dyke levelling, dairy conversions and on farm civil works. ACL also operate a vehicle workshop that looks after trucks, heavy vehicle, utes, cars and other smaller vehicles. The company supplies shingle and landscaping materials either in bulk or through our Dobson St West yard. ACL supplies certified ready mix concrete to the district, running a fleet of 10 concrete trucks.
